I started with this....texture paste, stencils and metallic paints.

Add a picture magazine picture that captures you attention.....make it fit. Note to self. Next time perhaps leave the texture paste and stenciling until the end. I had to spend some time gluing bits and pieces of the horses belly into the stencils negative space. What I couldn't fix, I stenciled over (the front left fore). I was obviously so pleased with how this spread work out that I have decided to use it for the cover image for this blog and in memory of my black horse, Selkirk Beauty who pasted on to greener pasture on November 5, 2013. .

LOVE IT! I actually have 4 horses, all rescues. My first one is a dark bay. He was a PMU baby...unwanted byproduct of a mare used for her urine. Come see my blog about them: http://deserthorses.blogspot.com/
ReplyDelete~Cheryl Ann~ I create journals either from recycled books or I make fabric covered ones: https://www.etsy.com/shop/DesertsandBeyond?ref=pr_shop_more
