I have joined the Sisterhood of Skinny Jeans and have taken the "year of small changes" challenge. This is based on the book 52 Small Changes by Brett Blumenthal. For week one we have added more water to our diets....I am getting there. They have a nice little equation to help you calculate the amount of water you need based on your weight. So I need to get in 60 ounces per day. And if you drink coffee or tea, you have to compensate for the dietetic effects of the caffeine. Blah! I have been dehydrated most of my adult life....and have the digestive system to prove it. Acid reflux, sluggish system....the whole nine yards. Hence the search for the water bottle that will help me visually keep track of how much water I have yet to drink.
Week two is getting your Zzzzz's. I am usually a champion at sleeping enough, but last night, after spending 8 hours in Emerg, my start to this weeks challenge has been messed up. But I guess sleeping from 4:40 to 3 in the afternoon must still count. Hopefully I will be able to sleep tonight and get back on track.
Next week will be the most challenging for me, as it is to add exercise into my day. I start off with the best intentions, but after a busy day it is my yoga practice that falls to the wayside. Maybe not this year, fingers crossed.

So I have downloaded the book from Kindle onto my tablet...
I will find the "just right vessel for my water.....
Then to get my Zzzz's that should be easy. I love my bedroom and love to sleep. Stay tuned for next weeks challenge......my daily Yoga Practice.
