I have fallen down the Textile Rabbit Hole ...
Rug Hooking
Just after retiring I purchased a Cheticamp rug hooking frame from Deanne Fitzpatrick Studio in Truro. Check out her web site at -https://hookingrugs.com/a/gempages?preview=70758105141&type=template-page&page=copy-of-deannes-rug-hooking-gallery
I had been dabbling with rug hooking on a small frame that was gifted to me by my good friend Joanne.💓 Once I was hooked I felt I might as well go big, so I purchased the full sized floor model rug hooking frame.

Embroidery
There have been many projects I have been working on since retiring last June.
I have begun my embroidery journey after signing up for a Youtube challenge group called Roxy's Journal of Stitchery. Check out their new challenge at https://www.facebook.com/groups/roxysjournalofstitchery
We began in January 2022 and had one stitching prompt per month. What fun we had. The end product was to have our embordered pages bound into a hard covered journal. I have been dragging my feet when it comes to binding my work as I an toying with the idea of framing and hanging my favorite pieces. We will see what happens.

Vintage Embroidery Kits
My second endeavor was to search for vintage embroidery patterns and or kits and I was lucky enough to find a few at our local Value Village ( thrift store). I was also lucky enough to be gifted other pieces. It took me just over two weeks to complete each. Once I started I found it difficult to put down.
My second Value Village find. A larger kit, but what fun.
